Feeding thousands of animals takes an extraordinary amount of work. Every day, our team prepares, cooks and distributes enormous quantities of food across the sanctuary and in the local community.

And that's just one ingredient. We add fish, vegetables and other ingredients to the rice to prepare nutritious, filling meals. Puppies and kittens need specialist milk and food, while sick and recovering animals often require special diets to support their recovery.

More than 2,200 rescued dogs and cats at our sanctuary rely on us for nutritious meals every single day.

Beyond our sanctuary gates, we provide daily food for more than 500 vulnerable street dogs and cats living in the local community.
Feeding Is Only Part Of The Cost
Providing food every day for more than 2,700 animals costs around £1,150 a day, but feeding is only one part of our work. Your support also helps fund veterinary care, rescue and rehabilitation, sterilisation and vaccination, lifelong care, sanctuary running costs, and education and outreach.
