Meet Flash 🧡

Hi, I’m Flash! I arrived at the sanctuary in March 2022, disabled, weak and with little hope of surviving a harsh life on the streets of Sri Lanka. I also had babesia, a dangerous tick-borne disease that destroys vital blood cells, making me even more sick and frail.

But Animal SOS Sri Lanka took me in as they do with so many otherwise doomed street animals. They never gave up on me and pulled me through! Now, I’m growing up fast and hopping around our beautiful garden like a kangaroo (seriously, I’ve got moves!).

Even though I’m a happy, playful boy, providing the lifelong care that special needs dogs like me require comes at a cost. People often ask the kind humans here to rescue dogs like me, but fewer are able to help with the care and expenses that continue long after a rescue.

I’m deeply thankful to be alive and surrounded by love. That’s all a dog like me could ever wish for.

When you sponsor me, you’re not just helping with my care - you’re becoming part of my story. Your kindness helps me live my best life, surrounded by people that care for me. I’ll always have a place to call home, where I’m protected and cherished.

Your support means the world to me. You’re giving me the gift of thriving, not just surviving.

I am Flash and I would love you to sponsor me
